Physiotherapy

Physiotherapy: a key component in regaining balance and mobility

Physiotherapy plays a central role in the comprehensive management of many musculoskeletal, neurological and postural conditions. At LAVY Médical, located in the Vernier district of Geneva, we regard this specialism as a key factor in improving our patients’ quality of life, alongside personalised, multidisciplinary medical care.

Christopher Juillard – Physiotherapist

Having qualified as a physiotherapist in 2017, I began my career at the Haute École de Santé (HEDS) in Geneva, where I had the opportunity to work as a part-time teaching assistant (50%), whilst also practising in private practice. From 2019 to 2024, I continued my career at Physiothérapie La Colline, combining practice in the clinic with post-operative care — an experience that was particularly rewarding both personally and professionally.

Since January 2025, I have embarked on a new venture as a self-employed physiotherapist at Lavy Médical, where I continue to support my patients with passion and care. Furthermore, since 2021, I have also been working as an HES-SO Training Practitioner, a role that is close to my heart: passing on my experience by supervising HEDS students during their placements. Keen to stay abreast of developments in my profession, I regularly undertake further training in various fields. Areas of expertise: Orthopaedics, Traumatology, Rheumatology, Chronic pain, Neurology, Return to sport and physical activity.

Cédric Pilet – Physiotherapist

I qualified as a physiotherapist in Geneva in 2017 and am passionate about movement, understanding the body and functional rehabilitation. Over the years, I have completed several postgraduate courses focusing on the management of chronic pain, trigger point therapy and dry needling, so that I can offer my patients personalised and effective treatment plans.

My aim is to help everyone regain their mobility and confidence in movement, whether that means getting back into physical activity, making the most of family life, or feeling comfortable at work again.

As a keen sports enthusiast myself, I regularly cycle, play badminton and go rock climbing, which gives me a better understanding of the demands and challenges involved in these activities — and enables me to provide the best possible support to my patients during their rehabilitation or as they return to sport.

Bettina Sipos – Physiotherapist

A qualified physiotherapist since 2008, with a passion for women’s health.

After several years of professional experience in various fields, I decided to specialise in women’s health care across all stages of life. I have specialised in abdominal, pelvic and perineal rehabilitation, in supporting women through pregnancy and breast cancer, and in lymphology. I can support you through the perinatal period and with any issues related to pelvic health, as well as with resuming physical and sporting activities after childbirth. Depending on the issue and your needs, I also use biofeedback and electrostimulation equipment.

I like to incorporate manual techniques into my practice, such as lymphatic drainage, fascial therapy, visceral manipulation and therapeutic massage, as well as tailored Pilates exercises, postural training and breathing exercises, which enable me to address issues at their root.

Through my enthusiasm and energy, I strive to set an example by encouraging people to enjoy physical activity and raising awareness of its beneficial effects on the condition in question.
